Vacation Care

The purpose of the Lismore Neighbourhood Centre's Vacation Care Program is to offer the Community quality affordable childcare for school aged children with educational and stimulating activities.

Vacation care is run by trained teachers & child care workers. Vacation care is a planned program for school aged children providing a variety of experiences and activities to help children develop their physical, intellectual and social skills. Vacation care encourages parent involvement in the management of the service.

All parents are eligible to receive some fee assistance (Child Care Benefit) when their child attends Vacation Care. The Child Care Benefit is a means tested payment from the Family Assistance Office. Parents must ensure that at the time of enrolling their child in Vacation Care, they have received their assessment for assistance from Centrelink.
