Tax Help

The Australian Taxation Office has successfully run the Tax Help program for 15 years, assisting over 70,000 clients on low incomes with their tax matters, thanks to the generosity of trained tax help volunteers who operate from centres such as Lismore Neighbourhood Centre. 

Tax Help is available to any person who is on a low income and the program generally operates from July to the end of October. 

To make an appointment for assistance with your income tax preparation, please call the Lismore Neighbourhood Centre from 9.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, anytime from the end of June and an appointment with a Volunteer Tax Help Advisor will be made for you.
