The Northern Rivers Migrant Service (NRMS) is a service providing information, assessment and referral services for new migrants, refugees and humanitarian entrants, migrants living in an isolated area as well as for dependents of skilled migrants living in the Northern Rivers Area. This service ensures you get better access to mainstream services.
NRMS is a focal point for newly arrived migrants to get the necessary support in order to help them settle into a new country and society. The service is a project of the Lismore Neighbouthood Centre Inc. at 76 Carrington St, Lismore. NRMS also operates an outreach service on Thursdays at the Byron Bay Community Centre. All appointments can be made by phoning the NRMS on 6621 7397.
