Community Aid & Information Service (CAIS)

Community Aid & Information Service (CAIS) provides an information & referral service to a broad range of community services and organisations in the local area9.30am to 3.30 pm

 A No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS) operates from the CAIS office, as well as a Budget Counselling Service. CAIS services also include compiling the Community Calendar for the Northern Star each week.
Other services include:-

• Free reading /writing asistance
• 1 to 1 computer tuition
• Divorce paper preparation
• Free legal advice
• Fax/ photocopying
• Meeting rooms
• Thursday morning craft & chat group
• Welcome kit for new Lismore residents
• GP youth vouchers
• Free tax help July to October
